Happy Sunday, friends! Let’s dive right in to the good stuff, shall we?

Crunchwraps — Lots of things on the menu right now that fall under the category “It’s too hot to really cook.” I made a crunchwrap for lunch one day this week and was very impressed — I don’t usually care for wraps of any sort. Here’s what I used:
- Joseph’s Lavash Bread
- Laughing Cow cheese (spread on the lavash - I used Laughing Cow Light but want to try PepperJack next time)
- Leftover grilled chicken, chopped up
- Half an avocado
- Chopped cherry tomatoes and bell pepper
- A handful of arugula/spinach mix
- A drizzle of Bolthouse Ranch and Frank’s Buffalo Sauce
I used Lillie Eats and Tells folding method to keep the whole thing from falling apart, and I salted/sprayed each side with EVOO before browning. Going to try it with deli meat this week.
Cobb Salads with my go-to balsamic dressing — I posted this in my Insta stories earlier this week, but it is worth another mention. We had Father’s Day lunch with Zach’s family earlier in the day and I wanted to make something light and very easy for dinner. A Cobb Salad hit the spot! I’ve been using this dressing recipe for years — it’s perfect year-round and I always have the ingredients on hand. (Sometimes I’ll sub honey for the maple syrup, or I’ll leave it out altogether.)

The Guncle — I’m enjoying this — very much so! — but it’s crossed my mind more than once that I’d rather be watching this story as a movie instead of reading it? (Sounds like that’s going to happen!)

“What’s saving your life right now?”
I always love whenever a favorite Instagrammer or podcaster shares their answers to this question, and it’s a great conversation starter with IRL friends, too. Here’s what Anne Bogel says about it:
The idea comes from Barbara Brown Taylor’s wonderful memoir Leaving Church. In it, Taylor tells the story of when she was invited to speak at a gathering, and her host assigned the topic: “Tell us what is saving your life right now.”
It’s a good question. Most of us know what’s killing us, and can articulate it, if asked. But few of us pay attention to what’s giving us life. The question invites you to do just that.
My list, at the moment:
Patio weather, particularly after several days of unbearable heat
Freedom from the cubicle
Lists in my trusty little notebook
Tell me, what’s saving your life right now?
Wishing you well,
Mollie
